Experienced marketing/communications coordinator and analyst with a notable background in parks, recreation and wellness. Excels in analyzing data and conducting research to develop creative strategies for business growth.

I am based at the Morrisville Aquatic & Fitness Center within the Morrisville Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources department. The center was reopening following a two-year closure for renovations, and I was placed at the helm of getting the word out to the community as the center’s new membership and marketing coordinator. Once we reopened, I was tasked with rebuilding the center’s member base and crafting a marketing strategy for the center from scratch. Although the facility has been in operation since 1993, it had never had any marketing personnel on staff to help it reach its full potential. In this role, I have grown a member base of zero to over 2,000 in just one year with a multi-pronged marketing plan that focused on email marketing, word of mouth marketing, B2B/corporate wellness, community events and digital marketing. Now, the MAFC is thriving with its own personal brand and a strong multichannel presence that draws members from not just our local community, but Wake County at large.

Cary Family Dental

November 2019 – August 2020

Cary Family Dental is a rapidly growing dental practice in the Triangle that was founded in 2003. I accepted a job here as the marketing director just before graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill. In my role there, I was responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to draw awareness to the practice — including creative campaigns, events, digital marketing, web updates, content creation, and public relations. I routinely monitored practice progress with emphasis on a number of KPIs, such as acquisition cost, revenue by source and new patient/referring patient numbers. Not to mention, I trained the clinical staff on marketing, communications and sales.

Orangetheory Fitness

2017 – 2019

While in college, I accepted a part-time job at the local Orangetheory Fitness studio. I fell in love with the fitness industry, the members, and the ability to make a difference in the lives of many. After just a few months of working part-time, I began to rise up the ranks — from senior sales associate to the studio’s sales and marketing manager — over the course of one year. In this leadership role, I managed a team of 20 sales associates and coaches to operate one of the country’s most profitable fitness studios, while still attending college full-time. I implemented a rigorous marketing, lead generation and sales pipeline that led to the studio’s success.

The University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill

2015–2019

I initially committed to play NCAA Division I college soccer at UNC-Charlotte at the age of 16. After just one year in the program, a career’s worth of concussions led me to medically retire. At that point, I chose to immerse myself in the best academia I could, and headed to UNC-Chapel Hill for the remainder of my college education. In 2019, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media and Communication from their esteemed Hussman School of Journalism and Media. My concentrations were in strategic communications and public relations. Go Heels!
